Tim Foley was the publisher and editor of The Farallon Review, a journal of contemporary, engaging, and literary fiction with a modern view, classic sensibility, and West Coast flavor. Between 2008 and 2015, writers whose stories appeared in the journal included Lewis Buzbee, Merrydawn Duckler, James Bernard Frost, Bill Pieper, Joseph Rathgeber, Elena Mauli Shapiro, Sue Staats, Mary Volmer, and many others. The drop-down menu reveals the contents of the six issues, stories that, like the journal’s namesake islands off the Northern California coast, were striking, memorable, and sometimes a bit dangerous.
